LENNIE'S LEGACY SCHOLARSHP FUND.

Lennie B. Wright was born on April 26, 1946 and transitioned to eternal life on March 21, 2016. Her legacy of love, forgiveness and courage remains in the hearts of her family and friends. Sweet Lennie was my angel on earth, she was my maternal grandmother and her legacy will thrive through my works, my children and the Loc Royalty legacy.

 

It was her unconditional love and unwavering optimism that enabled me to complete my undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University. In honor of Sweet Lennie, affectionately called, "Nene," (by her grands and great grandchildren) ten (10) percent of each Loc Royalty purchase will fund the Lennie Legacy Scholarship for students with dependent children (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service). I am who I am because of her; she was a mighty woman, in a small 4'9" frame. She empowered my life by demonstrating faith, continual love and daily support.

 

Luke 12:48 reminds us that to whom much is given, much is required. I am here to plant tangible seeds of encouragement to students with dependent children by way of the Lennie Legacy Scholarship. My hope is to inspire this distinct group of achievers to push through the barriers and follow their ambitious pursuits as they balance work, parental duties and educational commitments.
